Marietta Blau Grant

Congratulations to our research affiliate: Tatjana Boczy, M.A.

Tatjana Boczy was granted the Marietta Blau Grant of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy for conducting interviews with local bureaucracy in England on changes to institutional structures and norms in active labour market policies on a local level. She will also collect ethnographic notes as well as documents and statistics at local archives for her comparative dissertation on institutional changes and territorial differences in welfare regimes. The University of West England, Bristol, will host her for the seven months research stay. The Marietta Blau Grant offers financial support for study periods abroad for PhD students of Austrian universities. It serves to optimise their dissertations and further scientific exchange.
